I wish I could marry my bed - then I would be happy.

Eureka!!

Again, I say: "Eureka!"

I have had a revelation (hence the eureka!) and it is thus: When you get an actual night's sleep, say, more than 3 0r 4 hours, you can actually have energy the next day. I know! It is unbelievably shocking!!! I am sure I knew this information at one point in my life, but since I have tried to act like an 18 year old again, I forgot.

Last night I went to bed at 10:00pm, and although I missed the midnight picnic, it was a wonderful night. No, wait, I lied. At 10:45, my phone rang and thinking it was alreay morning, and that it was Jo calling, I answered in a complete stupor. It took me a few minutes to realise who it was; however, I am still unsure of what the conversation was about. Oh, dear. What I do remember is that I was pretty cranky to Denise when she invited me to the midnight picnic. I remember saying "I'm sleeping!" in the whiniest voice possible. To be fair to me, people know I am pretty crazy when woken from sleep. To be fair to Denise, she didn't know I had been sleeping as my lamp was on - when have I not fell asleep reading?. I am sorry, Denise. I still love you and look forward to your next big idea. So, anyway, after I made it back to sleep just after 11:00 pm, I had an amazing sleep. An even delicious and divine sleep!!

Will I learn from this revelation? I hope so...probably not... Argh!! At least until there is an imminent Boggle game...

High pound, anyone?

If I was Denise Garner, (or Dennis Garmer) I would start this post by saying "A happy and beautiful Sunday to you all!' However, since it is me, I will just start with my usual blank statement/ question:

Does it stand to reason that 200 men in one room is a good thing if they are all kind of gross?

No. I did not go to the 25-35 conference this weekend. Instead, I played with Andrea, Chris, and the bois, did some R.S. stuff, had birthday hijinks with said Denise, and went to church. Boy, am I glad that I did that!! Church was funny and awesome today with crazy Sunday School people ("maybe you would have learned that in history class if you had paid attention!"), tasty with ice cream sandwiches!!, scary with Sister Crofts who had me in the death grip twice ("I thought you were going to the conference..."), and spiritually uplifting with Denise's wonderful, albeit short talk.

Anyway, this is a very small post, but I need to have a little rest before weekday eve!!

I am going to tell you that I am only a good Boggle player when I am not playing with Chris Jackson. He is like a Boggle savant. When we played last night, I looked at my pretty long column of words with a pleased air. Then I looked up and saw that Chris had 2 and a half columns of words. And, he writes much smaller than I do. Yeah. It was still fun, though. However, he didn't try to slip fake words by me like some (who could it be??) do, and so there was no ragin'.

Time spent with the bois in the last couple of days has been great!! And, I have a new Mark quote: "I'm totally freaking out!" I didn't hear him say it, but Andrea tells me he did while in the midst of a melt-down. Awesome!!

Well, today is the birthday of our dear Denise, and when I got home this morning, there was a big new t.v. in our living room. Yay!! The O.C. will look amazing!! Happy Birthday Denise, and I will see you when you wake up!

I'm all about the wordplay

Question: Which game is best?

Last night, we switched it up a little here at the ol' game house, and played Scrabble. I have only played this game about 3 times in my life, and my first memory of it, which I'm sure Ashley will appreciate, is waking up at the party after myHigh School Grad (yes, I fell asleep on couches even back then) to see Peter Simon playing it with someone else. Needless to say, I thought I was still dreaming... So, I enjoyed playing it last night. It was definitely quieter than our usual Boggle-Jenny-rage-fest (can you imagine if I had married Reid??), but it was fun to play with Denise as well.

We also mixed it up on Sunday with the Scattergories. Now, here is a game that reminds me so much of my family, as we used to play it all the time. Who could forget Chris's zany answers, and the first time Adam and I knew we were kindred spirits with the answer "nog, egg". I had a lot of fun playing it with the trifecta, especially when I was reading Braden's mind... mweh heh heh... Still, it really didn't have the spark, the competition, fast-paced frenzy of our favorite word game.

So, I am going to say, unequivocally, that Boggle is best. In all schools of Jenny thought.

I saw on Steve Morton's facebook profile that he included poetry he had written, and so I was thinking of posting some of my own. Then I realized that I don't want 134 people to read it , so I thought I would post where my readership is about a 12th of that number...here on the blog. So, here is something I wrote the other day. It is , of course, untitled:

Here is a memory to be made:
the room effulgent with the smell of grass
the light falling in-just so-
blurring the edges
of everything here
and softening me-
my prickly worry
my sharp disappointment
my rocky pride

"you got stuck in a moment..."

Question:

Have I always been this crazy??? I know I joke with T-Korn about who is crazier, but lately I feel like I am spiralling out of control as regards "the feelings". Why can I not just say "I am done feeling this way", and it be finished? Although, to be fair, anyone who has seen "Something Blue" will know that having your will come true can only lead to havoc, hi-jinks, and people engaged.

Right now I am yelling at a character on t.v. who is annoying. Is that the actions of a sane person?

I have decided that starting tomorrow, I will be throwing myself into a new era (and I don't mean the magazine). Time to control my murderous rages, minor melt-downs, and crazy jealousies. I left junior high too many years ago to relive it. You will not find me crying in the bathroom. Well, you might, but that is just part of the fun that is me.

Really. I know y'all think its cute.

Bi-polar post the first:

A great big thank-you and an "I can not wait!!!" to Jess and Adam for purchasing the tickets to the concert that I may or may have been waiting my whole life for. Rufus Wainwright and Sarah Slean. I have seen both of these artists seperately, and I could never decide which one was my favorite of all the concerts I have ever seen. Now I do not have to decide. Ever. At the Winspear! I don't think it could be any better.

I have been trying to think what I could write about, and I have a few topics.

Topic the first: Cell phones in Institute. Seriously people, why can you not turn them off? Here is 90 minutes that you can be completely focused on developing your spiritual well-being, sit with your friends, and/or just completely relax. Wht must we be connected all the time? There was a girl who was texting the ENTIRE lesson right in front of me. Why are you even there if you are just talking to somone else?

Topic the second...sort of: cell phones on general. This is for people, o.k., mostly the men-folk, who come to our house, and then just text or talk to other people on the phone. Why are you at our house if you would rather be with someone else? We feel a little bit like sloppy seconds, or even your "fall-back girls" and that absolutely does not work for me. O.k., I know that I am not completely immune to the texting disease, but at least if I am at church, or some other religous activity, I do not communicate telephonically with others. I think the real problem is that there is no set etiquette for cell-phone use and behavior. However, if you are spending time with someone, you have a golden opportunity to communicate...right there. Wow. It absolutely boggles the mind, I know. Personally, I would rather watch J.R. play video games all night then watch you text someone else.

Topic the third: Potlucks. These are AWESOME. Yesterday, we had a potluck, and fantastic people who brought fantastic food came and spent the day at the Pink House. Why do I love a potluck so much? Well, I get to make Potato Salad, we get to find out about Denise's mad cooking skills, and time spent with, really, the best people in the ward, is always time well spent.

Topic the fourth: Walking. I love to walk, and going on sweet nature walks with friends just might be my favorite thing to do. We have done some great walks lately which included singing, stick-finding, rock-skipping, laughing, almost hand-holding (Ha-ha-ha-ha), and other such hijinks to brighten up a summer night.

Anyway, I am looking at the clock (Isn't it great?!) and I need to go to work pretty soon. Hope you all have a fantastic day - please be thinking of my in my three hour long staff meeting while the rest of you are enjoying your evening, and your showing and telling!

Goodbyeeeeee!

I like shiny things, candy, and guys who don't want to date me

Reasons why I am the dead monkey...

Oh. My. Word.

The new Rufus Wainwright album is wonderful. As usual, there are some lyrics that absolutely kick me right in the guts. Here are a few said lines:

"Do I disappoint you just being human?" (Do I Disappoint You). This line speaks so much about how I am always comparing myself to other people, and wishing I was different - skinnier, smarter, pretty, younger, etc. But really, as my new-found mantra goes: "I can't be anyone I'm not, I can only be better at who I am"

"You took advantage of a world that loves you well/I'm going to a town that has already been burned down" (Going to a Town) How many times do we hold onto things, or people, who are not going to give us what we need?

"But you will never lose your heart with those little boy blues" (Nobody's off the hook)

"You should be held. But I'm not ready to." (Not Ready to Love)

"You have locked all your assets up in lifelong contracts to you" (Release the Stars)

It is a good time to be listening to introspective music because I am really trying to figure out how to move ahead in my life. I feel like I'm holding on to things that are easy and comfortable, but that aren't helping me to grow and develop into the person I want to be. I am putting my faith in things that are never going to happen, and why do I do this?

On a happier note, I have registered for a conference in Calgary which is specifically for Single Adults, ages 25-35. I am very excited !! This is not as scary as the 30+ scene, which I'm sure everyone will remember, caused me a great amount of anxiety. I am making a goal right now that I will take every opportunity at the conference to meet new people, have a great time, and make out with some awesome guy. (Only kind of kidding about that last part. At least it won't be in a van...) (I'm sorry, I still love you!! You're the classiest person I know!!)

I hope everyone has a great Wednesday, and that all of you who are sick will feel better soon. I don't like to see you suffer, and more importantly, you better not make me sick, too. However, you know where you can come for awesome kleenex.

"They've got just a wee bit o' the crazies"

I am having a real problem getting out Post #60, but I am finally here at home with time to write, and ideas just a flowin'. So.

Today at work it was Stephen and I at cash, (well, him at Cash and me on cds) and we were finding that there was an abnormal increase in the number of stupid and/or crazy customers today. The highlight was the man (who Steve affectionately called "Beardy" for his incredible Lorenzo Snow bordering on Mountain Man beard) who stood at the next till to Stephen, where there was no cashier, and just handed his stuff over. He then waved to invisible people out side the window. Most people were just stupid, asking questions a 4 year old would know the answer to (and asking them at least 3 times). I wondered if there was some sort of explanation for the craziness, and asked whether there was a full moon right now. What we found out was that the new moon starts tomorrow. Hmm. Therefore, I am naming this phenomenon the "no moon syndrome". I really think it could take off and rival "The Secret" for sheer nonsense worthy of Mr. Kevin Trudeau himself. Oh, Snap!

Speaking of Kevin Trudeau and his antics, I took a peak through his book "Natural Cures" thinking there would be some suggestions and/or aids for healthy behavior. Not so. Instead, it was peppered with outrageous claims, my favorite being: "Cinnamon cures Diabetes". Seriously. Anyone who knows me, knows my feeling on opinion stated as fact. Not cool. So, Kevin, what you're telling me is that if I eat cinamon buns daily, I will be cured of my diabetes. Thanks, buddy! I'll get right on that. I'm sure it will work wonders for my weight as well.

On a sad (and completely unrelated) note, I am very sad to be losing Keely for the summer, and possibly forever. We have started watching Buffy episodes here (so far we have watched "Fool for Love", "The Gift", "Beneath You", and "Once More with Feeling). It is so nice to have someone to obsess, analyze and philosophize about the Buffyverse with again. I know she will have an amazing time in England, but we will miss her infectious enthusiasm. We love you Keely!

I will finish with some additions to my "things I am a sucker for" list:

-dimples
-nicknames
-random noises
-walks
-Keely
-nephews who are too cute for words
-lettuce wraps
-book clubs
-my red bag
-short stories by Mike
-Rufus's new album

Love to all my devoted readers!!!

Finally!! A boi who thinks I'm pretty cool

Anyone who knows me knows that I love Costco. LOVE. COSTCO. However, when I venture into a new Costco, my love is tested. Ahh!! I don't know where anything is! Why are the tills over there? Where are the movies? I don't know where to go for the samples! As Jess and I made our way through one of the Edmonton Costcos, I felt a little bit disoriented and confused. It did get better as we went along, but I am sure that I still missed some of my favorite things due to the maze-like lay-out. There was always weird corners and sample ladies hidden away. Needless to say, it wasn't quite the same. But, I was with Jess which reminded me of the old days.

I am in Edmonton, and of course, it is raining fit to be tied. This makes me sad because I want to wear my new shorts. I will wear them tomorrow no matter what. I hope to go to the Mall tomorrow. I know, I know, it is cliche to go, but I love the WEM. I love all of the over-priced stores, the whale, the ship, even the submarine ride which I have never taken, but will before I die. Oh, yes, I will.

The Sam-boi is very cute and smiley for me. He is so big and laughs quite a bit, especially at my Dad. I am going to see the trois-bois tomorrow, and maybe even venture into a game of Boggle with Chris. Wait. Do I really want to be a glutton for punishment? Depends how confident I am feeling.

A happy weekend to everyone still in Lethbridge. I hope you still have all of your appendages when I get back. I am just sorry I won't be there for Weekday-Eve.

Will binocular vision make my transition to my 30s harder?

I have been a very bad blogger. I have been seduced by the pictoral and ready-made communication of "The Facebook", and like a person who refuses to do long-hand division now that they have learned the short method, blogging has seem to become tiresome and tedious.

No. This attitude ends today. (By the way, I actually enjoy doing long division. That could be because I never really learned short.)

I am 30 years old today. Wow. I can say that somwhat calmly right now. For the last month I have been dreading this day. I was very anxious about leaving behind my twenties forever. I can look back at the last 30ish days and see how I have acted out due to this anxiety.

1. Flirting with the young (and delightful) men. (Well, these guys are all over 20. I was not as fascinated with the High School Jeb look-alike as some were...)

2. Staying up way too late when I work early in the mornings. Seriously, I feel as if I have a hangover today after my 3.5 hours of sleep last night. Dang you Boggle, and curses on thee, Buffy!!!

3. Being cranky with the roommates. Ladies (and Braden, the honorary roommate) I am so sorry for all of the emo-ness. I really do put it down to feeling completely out of control and unable to stop myself from moving, changing, aging, finding more and more grey hair... Thanks for putting up with my craziness. Methinks a brighter future I do spy.

4. More cooking than usual. It does help me feel a sense of control.

5. Being a Boggle tyrant. Wait, I have always been one...and I always will. Yeah. Too bad.

So, for some reason, I am feeling o.k. with being in my early thirties today. Could be the awesome birthday celebration last night. Could be the tons of Facebook birthday greetings I got. Could be that there is no time like the present to get motivated and become an amazing me. Could be I have family and friends who love me, and still love me no matter how old I am.

30, I embrace you. I face you, a little apprehensively, but I am excited to see what you bring me.

"Wink"

"So scared of getting older
I'm only good at being young" - John Mayer

I have really neglected my blogging as of late, but that was heavily due to the Institute Choir Concert, Stake Conference Adult session, and Stake Conference Sunday morning. I sang/conducted at all of these events, and so the preparation for these kind of consumed my week.

The Institute concert went quite well, I think. I really did enjoy conducting the three songs I did, and I felt like the choir did a wonderful job on my songs. It did feel like "the Jenny show", what with me being up and down numerous times for all of my activities. In the program I was promoted to Assistant Conductor, whichI was very excited for. Well, getting flowers at the end was nice, anyway.

The weather has been abs0lutely glorious this weekend, and so I have been doing a lot of walking. On Sunday we got a group together to walk in the cemetery. We then came back to the house and played games, followed by a viewing of "The Never Ending Story". o.k., Ashley, there is definitely innuendo in the movie with the stupid luck dragon, but I still maintain that most of it is due to our own filthy minds. Hey, I'll admit it!!

Take every opportunity to exhibit yourself

The weekend is over and I have only one week to get through. Can I?

The real question is why do I have some sort of allergy to saying "no" to people? Due to Cam and her holidaying, I have been asked to sing at the Institute Choir Concert. So, not only will I be conducting 3 songs, but I will be singing a solo as well. It will kind of be "the Jenny Show". (or maybe not. I may just be incredibly egomaniacal to say that) Whatever it will be, I think we can safely say that I apparently have a great desire to exhibit myself (be an exhibitionist?) in any way possible.

Congratulations to Greg this weekend for doing an amazing job at the "Adventure and Leisure Show" Your singing and playing were wonderful, and the fact that you did it so calmly while under the beady eyes of about 10 gazelles in the nearby African Safari exhibit just proves that you never lose your cool.

Remember the elephant foot?

don't worry, still repulsing all men. Or, at least scaring them off...

Apparently, talking to me makes you a jerk.

Just came home from the "Blades of Glory". Awesome!! (the italics imply that this word is sung in a descending minor third) I know this is the second post of the day, but blogging knows no daily limits, unlike many student bank accounts. Yeah. Best stop here before I say something really interesting.

Just really had one thing to say anyway.

I need to hang out with married people again

I am sick of many things right now:

1. The snow. Seriously, when will it stop? I just want to wear my new flip-flops from Old Navy.

2. My messy room. Remember how I'm supposed to be cleaning it right now?

3. My sick addiction to "The Facebook" It's like drugs. or candy. mmmmm...

4. Being far away from all the bois. I think I need to be in Edmonton very soon. it would be nice to be around males who are not repulsed by me.

5. Drama. Guess what everyone? I don't have it and I don't want it, so stop trying to pull me into it.

This angry post is just residue from the emo-music fest I was privy to on Monday morning. I think I will go to my room and listen to some cheerful music. First, I better check the facebook...

"What's the one thing you can't go without on a date?

This trifecta of awesome will not be attending any Manga conventions...

My love for "the facebook" is waning ever so slightly. The onslaught of friends requesting me has petered out, and I only see that others are "now friends". Hmm. So, I have cut my time to 1 hour a day. Oh, Facebook. I still love you!

I have been looking at pictures of Sam "the boi" Robertson, and wishing I was in Edmonton with everyone there. Just a quick apology to everyone here in Lethbridge for having to listen to my constant Jess and Adam stories. I can't help it if we were the l'original trifecta of awesome! Now Sam has taken my place, so I will have to hunt down Willy and Inuyasha. We can read adult (pornographic)Manga, and get matching trenchcoats. I think I will change my name to Naruto. Naruto Olsen. Yeah, that sounds real. Pretty soon, Inuyasha and I will marry and I will be Naruto Maloney. When we have a child, we will name him Gundam Seed Maloney. It will be at this point that Willy will have to find a new trifecta... and you see how this is a sad, sad cycle.

Curses on everyone who is not working tomorrow, as I will be manning the cash desk from 1:30pm until 9:30pm. So, if y'all are bored tomorrow night at say...7:30pm, come on in and say hi. maybe bring me a tall Caramel Apple Cider. (by the way, did I ever thank you for that?)
Ciao Bella

"Bearded enough lions to be a Daniel..."

12 hours in a car is nothing when compared with the concert I saw last night.

I went with Andrew to the Singers/Vox 40th Anniversary concert last night, and as anniversary concerts go, the OFS Pearl Tribute Concert was both briefer and far superior. First mistake I made: going with someone who will make me laugh at people's earnest attempts at choral music. Actually, Andrew and I were reasonably well-behaved. It was ony after 2 hours that he started texting someone, and I was day-dreaming, fidgeting, and sighing audibly.

Thre concert started out with a mass performed by Vox. This was the longest piece of music ever performed by a mediocre community choir. (Oh, hey- I was in Vox back in the day, so I am entitled!) Actually, they didn't sound as great as usual, and the piece did go on. There were some beautiful moments (Ah, Adam, I couldn't resist) like the Sanctus and the Benedictus, but on the whole it really stretched out for an unholy length.

The highlight of the night was a piece composed for the University's 40th Anniversary, and performed by the Singers. The text featured such lines as "ripped Caesarean-like", and "tasting the arts", and "Bruised by budgets". We had a dastardly time reading the "poem" without laughing aloud. Part of the song was people placed strategically throughout the audience who would randomly jump out of their seats to shout at eachother and at the choir. I know I am not mature enough for this kind of music...

And, of course, there were at least three thousand standing ovations, so Andrew and I were forced (very unwillingly) to stand, lest the composer of "Fiat Lux". who, coincidentally, was not that far from us, would force us to be "shouters" in the next performance...

Anyway, back to work today. It's been about a week, and I am somewhat glad to go back. I think. I hope someone put out the new movies.

Young people in love are very seldom...discreet

Remember how I'm never coming home?

We actually have extended our trip another day so we can do some more SHOPPING!! Utah is beautiful right now, and I think we are all trying to postpone our return to real life as long as we can. Plus, as I told Denise, absence makes the heart grow fonder...(although who is missing us, I really don't know)

So, Spring Fever has hit this town pretty early, because there were more couples on Temple Square than you could ever want. Some were even making out in front of us at Conference (Ahh! Jesus is watching and so is Pres. Hinckley) Seriously, you could not throw a rock yesterday without hitting a young couple in love. Mypersonal belief for this phenomenon is that Temple Square is like the Mormon Empire State Building. People agreee to meet there, and it positively radiates romanticism, what with the thousands of weddings there a day.

Conference in the Center was incredible yesterday. When Pres. Hinckley walked in, the entire room rose to its feet, and there was complete silence. The love I feel for him engulfed me immediately. He had a cane, but only used it to wave to people. He was so far away from us, but you could feel his love and devotion to the Lord and to all of the church as if he were right next to us. The choir was my favorite part of the session. In person they are positively magestic.

I hope everyone in Alberta is enjoying their weather!! Ha Ha!! It is absolutely beautiful here, and we will enjoy it today. Don't you worry about that, none...

See you when we get home!

The Canadian girl who went up a mountain...

To my dearest, dearest blogger:

I still love you with all of my heart, even if I have been neglecting you shamelessly for my new obsession: Facebook.

So, here we are in the beautiful state of Utah, and I do have to say, it is incredibly beautiful here in the mountains. There is still snow, and so they are extremely picturesque. We have been having a great time, just the three of us, and the only person who has been having minor meltdowns is me. Denise and Ashley may be regretting the decision to live with me and take me on this trip. I promise I will be better, ladies!!

Today we went shopping (oh, new clothes and shoes!!) and then saw the new Joseph Smith movie which was moving and emotionally gripping. We also walked around Temple Square and just enjoyed the spirit there. We have tickets for tomorrow and Sunday, and we are excited to spend more time there. Remember how we ended up staying around for the Priesthood session and were witness to a veritable sea of men?

"Welcome Back, Lady"

Hooray, I have bangs now!! Ones that do not fall into my eyes, but may or may not be flattering on me. The jury is still out.

Rant:
So yesterday I offended not one, but two customers about "The Secret". Both of them asked me if I had seen it and I said "No". Then they both asked if I was planning on seeing it, and when I said "no", the first customer asked me if that was because of all the hype. I said that my life was actually pretty happy right now. She seemed really offended that I thought her life was an absolute mess and that is why she needed "The Secret". The second lady also asked me why I wouldn't see it, and when I said, again, that my life was pretty great, she got realy huffy and didn't speak the whole time I was packing up her stuff. Then, at the end, she told me that "The Secret" would still be beneficial to me. I believe I actually said "We'll see". This lady was not happy.

Why do these people force me to justify why I won't follow their crazy little cult? Am I a bad person because I won't bow down to the great Oprah? I'm sorry I offended them with my opinion, but I can't help it if they're feeling embarassed that they are feeding in to all the hype. It would serve these people right if I just threw a Book of Mormon at them and yelled "Why won't you join my religion? Why? Why?" I actually think the best come-back to "Why won't you read it" would be: "I don't subscribe to the church of Oprah, I already have my own religion, thank-you!!"

O.k., enough ranting. I think I am letting "The Secret" control my life just a little too much, which is what I know it "secretly" wants.

Fact: I may or may not have been asked on a date today. I'm not really sure if that is what happened. Since it has been 5 years since I have been physically asked on a date, I am a little rusty at knowing how that all works. Did I imagine it? Was it a date or just a ride home? Are we just friends? Is he just doing it to get close to one of my roommates? The answers to all of these questions factor heavily in funny/tragic anecdotes of my life, so, once again, I don't really know.

Why I wish I was married #3: What has two thumbs and is completely dating-retarded? THIS GIRL!!!

Why I'm glad I'm still single:

"Where is my dignity? Where is it?"

I apparently enjoy being bludgeoned with his indifference.

Ohhh....

So last night I was sitting at the computer, trying not to be crazy, minding my own business, when I felt myself being taken over by the INTERNET NINJA. Yes, that dastardly demon possessd me and sent me to "the Google", where I may or may not have found a certain hot/cold friend's blog. The pictures were semi-delightful and the writing absolutely adorable (why, oh why are they always better on paper?). Suddenly I was emailing him and once again saying "Let's get together, yeah, yeah, yeah!" As soon as I pressed the "Send" button, I felt the remorse building up inside of me and I was suddenly on the kitchen floor cursing the heavens with every loonie I have banked up in the swear jar. Praise all that is holy, he answered me back within the night, and wants to do something next week.

Now, as 75% of my devoted readers know, this person is only a friend. However, he is all about the "Let's hang out" and the "Can I get your phone number" and then nothing for months. Don't tell me we need to get together if you're never going to call. Jess, I know, I know, I am crazy and even though you think I should be strong, I am weak like unto a feather pillow.

Off to work today where I will probably be lynched for not attending the first "Harry Potter" planning meeting last night. Sister McMahon may have killed me for not being at the Stake choir practise, and I really do fear her wrath above my boss's. But hopefully, for whatever reason , I will not be at Chapters on July 21st anyway. So.

Good Luck to everyone at the Oscars tonight (or as I like to call them, "The Vicky's) Oh, and by the way, I do know who the winners are, but I will not be seeing any of you before they are over... Ha Ha Ha!!!.....
